Calm the Heart, Soothe the Spirit, Revitalize the Body in a world of exclusive privacy.PedicuresA pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet, and nails. It basically is a manicure for the feet. The word pedicure comes form the Latin words pes, which means foot, and cura, which means care. It also means the care of the feet and toenails. A pedicure can be helpful because it can prevent nail diseases and nail disorders.
BenefitsIf you get a pedicure it can benefit you in many ways. It will help you by keeping up with your feet and will prevent any nail diseases or nail disorders. Especially if you have diabetes or you are not able to take care of yourself, you could go and get someone else and they can do it for you. Plus It will also make your feet look better. We would add that for pregnant women or overly large persons, this is nice. With diabetics, it's very important you tell your nail technician that you are diabetic, so the tech would be extra careful with the implements, so as to not cut the client. (diabetics sometimes have trouble clotting and healing after a cut or bruise)
ManicuresA manicure is a treatment for fingernails and hands. A manicure can treat just the hands, just the nails, or both. Treatments for hands usually include soaking in a softening substance and application of hand lotion. The word "manicure" comes from the Latin manus, meaning "hand," and cura meaning "cure". Paraffin TreatmentsSometimes your hands may be dipped in melted paraffin or wax. This is meant to impart heat to the hand for the purposes of relaxing the skin and making it better able to absorb lotion, which is sometimes rubbed on the hand before submersion into the paraffin. The hand is usually dipped more than once to allow a thicker wax coat to form, making the coating stay warm for longer and less likely to break or tear prematurely. After the hands have been dipped in the wax, they are wrapped in either plastic or tin foil, then covered with cloth to retain warmth.
We are OPEN 10am - 10pm by appointments only.
